Our Philosophy:
1. Make it FUN! The game of baseball can be very hard. It's a game built on failure. If we can get players to truly fall in love with playing and getting better, it is our belief that they will have the best chance to maximize their potential. Not everyone is going to be a big leaguer, or play in college, or even be a star in high school. But the players who learn to enjoy the process of practicing and getting better, often are the ones who have incredibly rewarding and fulfilling experiences in the game.
2. Teach. Our staff has experienced the game at many different levels from professional baseball to current college and high school players. They will constantly be teaching the kids the fine details and nuances that make baseball players successful. The smallest things can often translate into big successes. Players that experience success on the field are often the ones who pursue it the longest and most passionately. If we can feed that passion, we'll create more successful baseball players.

A Huge Congratulations to Bishop O'Connell alum Jake Berry who signed a contract with the Cleveland Guardians! Jake had a great career at UVA and we look forward to following his journey through professional baseball. Best of luck Big Guy! Go Knights!
SUMMER SEASON - A Time for Player Improvement, Learning the Game, but MOST IMPORTANTLY: Having Fun Playing the Game!
The summer is a great time to work at getting better. I've always believed the best steps for doing that are to really look at the feedback the spring season gave you, seek out some professional help (camps or lessons), and then go to the ballfield with a parent or friends and get to work! The key is making that work fun. The game is, by it's nature, a grind. The work is, in reality, a grind as well, but it's vital to long term player development to find the enjoyment in the time you're putting in that work. So, take advantage of the long, school-free days and get to work to get better this summer!
